As we begin another full week of school at Peach Springs Unified School District, we want to celebrate our students, thank our families, and recognize the incredible teachers and staff members who make our schools such special places to learn and grow.
The beginning of a new school year brings excitement, new routines, new opportunities, and sometimes a few adjustments. As everyone settles into the school-year routine, there is one simple thing that can make a tremendous difference in student success: being at school every day and arriving on time.

Regular school attendance is one of the most important ways families can support student learning. Each day in the classroom gives students opportunities to learn new skills, participate in discussions, build relationships, ask questions, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.
When students miss school, they miss more than assignments. They miss instruction, conversations, activities, and important connections with their school community.
That is why we are encouraging our entire PSUSD community to make attendance a priority from the very beginning of the school year.

Being at school is about much more than attendance numbers — it is about belonging. We want every student to know that they are an important part of our school community.

A successful school day often begins the night before. Getting plenty of sleep, preparing clothes and backpacks ahead of time, and having a consistent morning routine can help students arrive rested, on time, and ready to learn.
And remember — breakfast is provided at school!
