Congratulations to Derrick Jones, William Suathojame, Riley Shongo, and Gilmore Powsey for representing Music Mountain in the season opener! 🙌🏽 The Warriors are led by Head Coach Martina Dawley and Assistant Coach Krishna Gullapalli, with Gabriel Marshall and Rondo Wescogame rounding out our six-member 2026 squad. 🏃🏾‍♂️ And they’re right back at it! Parents, families, and community BUS UPDATE: There was no yellow bus after school today due to an unexpected issue that came up. Students will need to be transported home via alternative transportation primarily Hualapai Transit. Please feel free to call the school for any alternative arrangements. Thanks for understanding and I we are sorry for the last-minute change. Student safety is our number one priority.

As we enter our second full week of school, thank you so much for your continued support and for helping us get the school year off to the best start possible!

With the summer heat still upon us, please make sure your students are getting plenty of rest, staying well hydrated, and receiving proper nutrition each day. Students are also welcome to bring a clear water bottle to school.

Most importantly, please help us make every instructional day count by ensuring your child is at school every day and arrives on time. Consistent attendance is one of the most important ways we can work together to support student success.

**A Message from Superintendent William Santiago**

Dear Peach Springs Community, Parents, Families, Students, and Staff,

I am pleased to share that the water line repairs have been completed, and water service has been fully restored to Music Mountain High School.

**Music Mountain High School will be OPEN and back in session tomorrow, Thursday, August 6, for all students in grades 7–12.** Classes will follow the normal school schedule, and all bus routes will run at their regular times.

I want to sincerely thank our families, students, staff, and the entire Peach Springs community for your patience, understanding, and support during this unexpected interruption. I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who worked diligently to complete the repairs and safely restore water service as quickly as possible.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. We are grateful for the resilience of our school community and look forward to welcoming all of our 7–12 students back to campus for a great day of learning.

Reminder MMHS is closed today due to water supply repair.

MMHS Parents and Families, Thank you for your patience and flexibility during today’s school closure due to the water line break. Repairs are being made today; however, the water must remain off for 24 hours to allow the repair to properly set. Therefore, MMHS will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5. School will resume on Thursday, August 6, on the regular schedule with regular bus routes. We appreciate your understanding and will notify families immediately if there are any changes. Good morning, PSUSD8 Family! As we begin our first full week of the new school year, I want to take a moment to simply say thank you. Thank you to our incredible staff for the dedication, heart, and professionalism you’ve already shown. The energy in our classrooms, offices, buses, cafeterias, and throughout our campuses has been inspiring. It takes every one of us working together to create a place where our students feel safe, welcomed, and excited to learn. To our students, I encourage you to come to school each day ready to learn, ask questions, work hard, and be kind to one another. Every day is a new opportunity to grow, and I can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish this year. To our parents, families, and community members, thank you for entrusting us with your children and for partnering with us in their education. Your support makes a tremendous difference.
